Title is not as important to Google as the content itself - John Mueller

John Mueller, when asked by a user about the importance of the Title tag in Google's ranking, replied that the Title tag is not as important for ranking as the content (text) on the page itself. He explained that Google has no problem ranking pages even without a Title tag, but that the lack of content makes this process much more difficult.
